Sabri Lamouchi has all but ruled himself out of the running to become the Watford manager by saying he is “very happy” at Nottingham Forest.
L’Equipe claimed that Lamouchi was one of the candidates being considered by Watford. They are on the hunt for a replacement for Quique Sánchez Flores.

But asked on Wednesday whether there’d be any contact from the Premier League side, Lamouchi told the Nottingham Post: “Nobody called me, nobody has talked with me.”
“I am the manager at Nottingham Forest. I am very happy here with my players, with my staff, with the people at the club, with the fans and with the city.”
Lamouchi has taken the Reds to fourth in the Championship – a climb that has included five away wins already – and they are eight points behind second-place Leeds United. Saturday’s 1-0 defeat against Cardiff City means that they could do with a result against Millwall to keep themselves in the mix.

The fact that the Frenchman only signed a one-year deal at the City Ground in June has fuelled speculation about his future.
‘We love you’
Not only has he been linked with Watford, but he’s also said to be Wolverhampton Wanderer’s ‘top target’ if Nuno Espírito Santo ever leaves the club.
It’s fair to say that Nottingham Forest fans are very happy that the 48-year-old has played down the speculation linking him with a move away.
