Robinson was in action for the Reds in their Championship game against Jonathan Woodgate’s side at the City Ground on Tuesday evening.

The 26-year-old started the match and played for the entirety of the 90 minutes, and his performance left much to be desired.

The former Queens Park Rangers full-back wasn’t at his best against Boro and arguably cost the Reds all three points late on.

Robinson tripped substitute Marvin Johnson in the area with less than 10 minutes remaining in the game. This came after Ryan Yates had given the Reds the lead on the hour-mark.

Paddy McNair stepped up and converted from the penalty spot for the away side.

This wasn’t the only time that the full-back was caught out. McNair had beaten Robinson on the byline earlier in the second-half, but fortunately couldn’t find a teammate with his cross.

The result means that the Reds now find themselves in fifth-place in the Championship table at the moment with 34 points from 20 matches.
