Nottingham Forest face a slightly longer wait to face fellow promotion hopefuls Leeds United at the City Ground.
A number of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to Twitter to bemoan the news that the Reds’ home game against Leeds United has been moved for television coverage (Nottingham Forest’s Official Site).
The Championship fixture was initially set to be a 3pm kick-off on Saturday 8th February, but it’s now set to begin at 5.30pm, meaning a longer wait for City Ground fans.

The Leeds United game is the only Forest fixture that has been selected for broadcast as Sky announced their picks for the rest of January and early February on Friday. Surprisingly, Forest’s trip to Chelsea in the FA Cup this Sunday isn’t being broadcast.
There are set to be six other games from the competition broadcast live on television this weekend. The fact that the Reds have faced the Blues twice in the last two years is likely to have been a factor in the game being snubbed.

The next time that the Reds are live on the box is Sunday 19 January. They face Luton Town at the City Ground in the Championship, with the game kicking off at 12 noon.
The City Ground side is no stranger to seeing fixtures rescheduled for live broadcast. This is only likely to become more common if the Reds remain in the play-off places. It still rankles amongst many Forest supporters though, who are often inconvenienced and have to change their own plans.

Here is some of the reaction on social media to the Leeds United fixture time change:
