Nottingham Forest are set to miss out on defender Marc Guehi with the Chelsea man nearing a move to Swansea City.
BBC Sport is reporting that the centre-back will join the Swans on loan until the end of the season, with the option of a further 12 months.
Guehi has two Chelsea appearances under his belt and played under Steve Cooper for the England under-17 team that won the World Cup in 2017.

Forest were thought to be interested in the battling youngster, along with Premier League outfit Southampton.
Signing a central defender would have seemed a bit odd from a Forest perspective. Joe Worrall, Michael Dawson, Tobias Figueiredo and Chema Rodriguez have all looked in good shape this season.
Guehi is seen as a potential Chelsea first-team player but quite frankly Forest didn’t need to make the move right now.
The club is well-stocked when it comes to defenders and with the team fourth in the league, stock-piling players is not on the agenda.
Swansea have dropped out of the top-six in recent weeks and now face a battle with a host of clubs to climb the table once more.
Forest are desperate to make additions to their squad during the current transfer window. A striker is a priority, whilst a midfielder and another winger could also be on Sabri Lamouchi’s radar.

Guehi is one consigned to the gone elsewhere file and the Reds will hope it doesn’t come back to haunt them.
With Forest’s defending looking pretty good of late, it is doubtful that it will and many fans will be glad the club hasn’t signed Guehi.
