Nottingham Forest were forced to settle for a point against Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.

Nottingham Forest remain in the Championship play-off places after drawing 1-1 against Reading away from home on Saturday.

The Reds headed down to Berkshire for a big game against Mark Bowen’s side, and will be bitterly disappointed that they weren’t able to come away with three points.

Ben Watson looked to have nicked a winner for the Reds in the sixth minute of stoppage time. However, the Royals went straight up the other end of the pitch to snatch an equaliser in dramatic circumstances.

The Reds had their chances to put the game to bed in the first-half, but did get away with a couple of scares after the break.

That all meant that the Reds picked up another point. They have accumulated 44 points from 26 games so far this season.

One of the main reasons for the upturn in form Sabri Lamouchi’s side have experienced in the last few weeks is due to the return of Samba Sow. The 30-year-old has been hugely impressive for the Reds in the middle of the park.

‘Colossal’, ‘Monster’

Some branded him ‘colossal’ and a ‘monster’, believing he deserves far more credit than he receives for his performances of late.
