Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Adama Diakhaby from Huddersfield Town, as confirmed by the club’s official website.
The speed demon joins the City Ground on loan until the end of the 2019/20 campaign and becomes the club’s first January signing.
A 23-year-old, Diakhaby hasn’t featured for the Terriers of late and has now moved to bolster Sabri Lamouchi’s attacking options.

The Frenchman has started nine games for Huddersfield this season but hasn’t been in an 18-man squad since a 5-2 defeat at Bristol City in November.
Diakhaby has experience of playing in the Champions League at Monaco and also caught the eye at Rennes.

Forest have been on the lookout for new additions during this window and Lamouchi will be pleased to get the first one through the door.
A striker will also be targeted this month but getting Diakhaby over the line looks like a decent start.
The man with four France under-21 caps is quick, skilful and is constantly trying to beat his man.
Diakhaby played 12 times for the Terriers in the Premier League last season and he will complement the club’s current attacking talents.

Following his arrival, supporters have taken to Twitter to welcome their new man to the club.
Most are happy with the signing and can’t wait to see the new man in action.
