Adama Diakhaby could come into the squad after joining on loan from Huddersfield Town yesterday.

They remain without long-term absentees Andy Yiadom and Lucas João.

Match Preview

The Royals go head-to-head with the Reds knowing that a win could move them to within six points of the play-off places.

The Royals have had some mixed results over the last few weeks. They’ve only won once since the turn of the year in the Championship, but that win did come away at promotion hopefuls Fulham on New Year’s Day.

Forest will be desperate to secure the three points to close the game on the automatic promotion places to just two points.

Despite the win against Luton, the Reds remain fifth in the league table. Lamouchi’s men have closed the gap on those above them by picking up some impressive results in the last few weeks.

Lamouchi will be hoping his side can secure a fourth consecutive league victory at the City Ground.

Likely Line-Ups

Forest (4-2-3-1): Samba; Cash, Dawson, Worrall, Ribeiro; Watson, Sow; Lolley, Silva, Ameobi; Grabban.

Reading (4-2-3-1): Rafael; Gunter, Morrison, Moore, Blackett; Adam, Pelé; Swift, Méïté, Ejaria; Baldock.

One to watch

With three goals and three assists in the Championship so far this season (Transfermarkt), it’s hard to look beyond Ovie Ejaria as the one to watch.

The 22-year-old winger on-loan from Liverpool has been really impressive for the Royals this season.

His pace and trickery is something that the Reds will have to find a way to cope with if they want to secure the three points.

Tickets

Some tickets do remain for home supporters. They are said to be selling well with limited availability across certain areas of the City Ground. They can be purchased from the ticket office online and in person.

TV

According to the Sky Sports Website, Nottingham Forest’s clash with Reading isn’t listed as being available on Sky Sports Red Button. Charlton Athletic’s game against Fulham is currently the only game listed.
