Nottingham Forest were forced to share the points again as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Reading at the City Ground.

Nottingham Forest ace Joe Lolley has taken to social media with a message for the club’s fanbase following last night’s frustration. The Reds missed the opportunity to close the gap on the automatic promotion places to just two points.

The Reds were held to a 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture at the Madejski Stadium just 11 days prior. Having taken the lead late on again last night, Forest would’ve fancied their chances of seeing the game out, but it wasn’t to be.

Forest had to wait until 10 minutes before full-time to make the breakthrough. Lewis Grabban looked to have secured the three points when he latched on to Sammy Ameobi’s pass.

However, it took just three minutes for the Royals to respond through substitute Sam Baldock.

Joe Lolley shared a message on Twitter following the game, sharing his frustration with the club’s supporters:

Some Nottingham Forest fans have responded, admitting that they are equally as frustrated:

The Reds have a break from competitive action this weekend. It’s the FA Cup fourth round meaning that Forest aren’t involved due to their defeat against Chelsea at the beginning of the month.

They return to Championship action next Tuesday against Brentford at Griffin Park. With the Bees sat just one point below them in the league table, it’s a huge game for Sabri Lamouchi’s men.
