Nottingham Forest were left to reflect on what could have been after suffering a 2-1 defeat away at Birmingham City on Saturday.

Sabri Lamouchi’s side took the lead at St Andrew’s courtesy of Tiago Silva’s first Championship goal for the club.

Lewis Grabban then squandered the opportunity to double the Reds’ advantage when failing from the penalty spot.

That miss would prove to be costly, with the hosts hitting back to turn the tie on its head and steal all three precious points.

Following the Reds’ latest outing, Nottingham Forest News analysed the players and rated their performance out of 10:

Brice Samba – 5

One excellent save in the second half but should’ve done better for both goals.

Matty Cash – 6

Could’ve challenged better for their first and lucky not to give them a penalty with a clear handball.
