Nottingham Forest will be looking to return to winning ways when they face Leeds United at the City Ground in the Championship on Saturday.

Former Nottingham Forest cult figure Guy Moussi has confirmed that he’ll be in attendance. He has spoken highly about the Reds and has backed the club’s supporters to create an ‘electric’ atmosphere on Twitter.

After last weekend’s game against Birmingham City at St Andrew’s, Sabri Lamouchi’s men return to the City Ground – where they will take on fellow promotion contenders Leeds United, currently under the guidance of Marcelo Bielsa.

There’s no doubt that last weekend’s defeat against Birmingham will have hurt the Reds. They had the opportunity to close the gap on those above them but instead slipped to four points off the automatic promotion places.

Lamouchi’s men will view the next two home games as a good opportunity to get back to winning ways. Not only that, but they have the opportunity to take points off some of their direct rivals in the coming weeks.

“Can’t wait for the game this weekend against Leeds United,” Moussi wrote in his latest tweet.

“I know the atmosphere will be electric and we will have one of our own coming back aka Radosław Majewski.”

Forest and Leeds have played 100 competitive fixtures over the years. The Reds have won 34 games, whilst Leeds have won 31 games, with 35 fixtures ending in a draw, according to 11v11.com.

Moussi will be hoping to see his former side pick up an important three points.

The 35-year-old made over 100 appearances for the club during a six-year spell. He was part of the 2010/11 side under the management of Billy Davies who last made the play-offs.
