It wasn’t a surprise that the Reds allowed Adomah to leave the club on loan. He hadn’t made the desired impact at the City Ground, and with the addition of Adama Diakhaby, Adomah had fallen further down the pecking order.

The 32-year-old winger was in action for Cardiff in their Championship game against Luton away from home at Kenilworth Road on Saturday.

Neil Harris opted to start the experienced winger, and he played for 92 minutes, as the Bluebirds picked up a valuable three points with a 1-0 win.

It was Adomah’s debut for Cardiff following his loan move from Forest, and he didn’t get off to a bad start.

The 19-cap Ghanaian international didn’t take long to make an impression. He caused Luton’s defence all sorts of problems throughout the game and assisted Lee Tomlin’s winning goal in the second-half.

According to Stats Zone, the winger took three shots which were not on target, had a pass accuracy of 86.7%, created two chances, as well as picking up an assist for the goal.

‘Quality’, ‘Hero’
