Nottingham Forest were forced to settle for a point against Queens Park Rangers at the City Ground on Saturday.
The Reds couldn’t return to winning ways in the Championship, as they failed to find the back of the net against QPR, although they did have a goal disallowed in the first-half.

Sabri Lamouchi’s men would’ve been confident of getting three points against Mark Warburton’s side, but they couldn’t land a killer blow.
Lamouchi made a bold call by introducing 22-year-old midfielder Ryan Yates off-the-bench in yesterday’s game. There are a number of supporters that feel he isn’t yet up to the required standard for a team chasing promotion.
It did seem a strange substitution given that the Reds needed a goal. There were far more attack-minded options on the bench for the Frenchman to bring on.
Yates was introduced with around 30 minutes of normal time remaining for Sammy Ameobi. He wasn’t able to help the Reds secure the three points, despite the fact Joe Lolley missed a glorious chance late on.

The Reds remain in the play-off places in the Championship. There’s no doubt that they’ll look back on this game as two points dropped, but there are still many positives to take.
Fans have been taking to Twitter to criticise Lamouchi’s decision to bring Yates on. Some suggested that they knew the Reds wouldn’t win the game ‘as soon as’ Yates was introduced for Ameobi.

Others were criticising Lamouchi for not bringing Alex Mighten or João Carvalho on much earlier in the game. By the time they came on, they didn’t have much time left to make an impact.
Here’s what some supporters have been saying about the decision on social media:
Yates just dont do enough for me just runs about

Sabri got it so wrong with his subs again today – how many times can you bring Yates on and expect a different end result? Love the guy, but he must see that it doesn’t work 😫 #nffc

Today was proof that Carvalho HAS to start. In a game void of creativity it baffled me as to why he didnt start or wasnt brought on earlier. Not to mention the crime that was subbing Ameobi off for Yates. #nffc

Ryan Yates was on the pitch for 30 minutes and all he did was give a foul away. #NFFC
