Nottingham Forest take on Swansea City this evening knowing that three points will be enough to confirm a play-off place with two games to spare.

The Reds are without a win in three matches and know they must hit the winning trail if they are to cement their top-six position.

Swansea have come up along the rails in their quest to reach the play-offs and after Cardiff City’s win last night, they too could do with all three points.

Ahead of tonight’s game, we look at how Sabri Lamouchi will likely line-up against Steve Cooper’s men.

In goal and back four

Brice Samba is established as the club’s number one stopper and will almost certainly start between the posts.

A few changes were made on Saturday with some players nursing knocks after a tough run of games.

Matty Cash is still doubtful after picking up a niggle so Carl Jenkinson will probably continue at right-back, with Yuri Ribeiro on the left-hand side.

Michael Dawson played instead of Tobias Figueiredo at the weekend but the Portuguese enforcer should return tonight partnering Joe Worrall.

In the middle

Forest have struggled for creativity in the last couple of games and that should prompt Lamouchi to recall Tiago Silva.

The magician was on the bench at the weekend but should earn a chance to impress from the start this evening.

Ben Watson, Samba Sow and Ryan Yates compete for the holding roles.

Former Watford star Watson has been a standout performer and will probably skipper the side from his position just in front of the back four.

If match fit, Sow will probably get the nod ahead Yates this evening.

In attack

With doubts surrounding the fitness of Joe Lolley, Forest might look towards Nuno Da Costa once more.

The £1.8 million signing from Strasbourg was extremely impressive at the weekend, winning the penalty which saw Forest take the lead.

On the opposite flank, Sammy Ameobi will probably get the chance to add to his nine assists this season.

Operating as the lone striker will once again be Lewis Grabban.

The Forest hitman made it 20 for the season on Saturday and will hope to add to his tally between now and the end of the season.

Here is how Lamouchi might line-up this evening:
