James Nursey from The Mirror is reporting that Sheffield United still want to offer Nottingham Forest two players and cash in return for Matty Cash.
The defender is a wanted man this summer with Aston Villa, Leeds and West Ham all thought to be in the race alongside the Blades.
Now, The Mirror claim that Chris Wilder is still interested but as his deal will include two players, it could take some time to complete.
In the meantime, Cash returned to pre-season training yesterday alongside his Forest teammates and will prepare for next season.
The Reds missed out on the play-offs during 2019/20, finishing seventh after a disastrous last three games of the campaign.

Forest would dearly love to keep hold of Cash but that might not prove possible with Financial Fair Play loitering in the background of all Championship clubs.
It is thought that if two players are to be added to any potential deal, Forest will receive just £4 million in cash from Sheffield United.
It seems likely that Luke Freeman would be one of those players, with The Athletic previously stating that Forest were interested in the No.10.
Callum Robinson could be another who is mentioned as a potential player in the deal. He arrived last summer for an undisclosed fee from Preston but finished the season on loan at West Brom.

At this stage, though it’s pure speculation as to who the other player might be and regardless, Forest would still dearly like to keep Cash.
Decision time
Joe Worrall and Joao Carvalho are two other players who could leave and some supporters would rather those two sales were sanctioned – rather than the departure of Cash.
Forest have added Jack Colback, Tyler Blackett and Lyle Taylor to their ranks this summer in a positive start to the transfer window.
It does seem, however, that at least one big-name will depart the club at some point before the window shuts in October,
