Turkish top-flight outfit Yukatel Denizlispor are considering a move for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon, according to reports in Turkey.
The uncompromising Romanian goalkeeper spent the second half of last season on loan at Omonia Nicosia in Cyprus, playing six games for the club.
Pantilimon signed for Forest in 2018, initially on loan and has made 57 appearances for the Reds in total.

The man with 27 caps for Romania proved a decent enough signing and kept 19 clean sheets during his 18 months or so as the club’s first-choice stopper.
It goes without saying that Forest need to trim the squad somewhat and Pantilimon doesn’t have a future at the City Ground.
Now 33, the ex-Manchester City stopper has fallen behind Brice Samba and Jordan Smith in the pecking order, with youngsters George Shelvey and Jordan Wright also on the books.

If Forest could get Pantilimon away from the club and off the wage bill it would certainly represent a decent piece of business.
With Jack Colback, Tyler Blackett, Lyle Taylor and Fouad Bachirou arriving this summer, the squad is once again looking bloated.
Boss Sabri Lamouchi will, therefore, hope to trim his group and Pantilimon will surely be one of those players who could be on his way.
NFN Verdict – Decent servant but time for pastures new for Pantilimon
The veteran goalkeeper has endured some criticism during his time at the club but on the whole, he’s not proved a bad player.

Pantilimon did a job for the Reds at a time when they were languishing towards the bottom of the Championship and that shouldn’t be forgotten.
Given that he was likely given a sizeable contract by the Reds, a move to England looks impossible and heading out to Turkey looks ideal for Pantilimon.
Getting the 6ft 6in custodian off the books would be ideal for Forest this summer and would certainly go a long way towards helping Forest comply with Financial Fair Play.
