Nottingham Forest were beaten 2-0 by Cardiff City at the City Ground as the Reds continued their woeful start to 2020/21.
Sabri Lamouchi’s men were outfought and outthought by the Bluebirds who never looked like relinquishing control of the game after Kieffer Moore had opened the scoring in the third minute.
Forest huffed and puffed in the second half but ultimately the game had gone, with another three points slipping Forest by.
With each passing defeat, the pressure on Lamouchi will intensify. He desperately needs goals and victories in order to appease the club’s hierarchy.

Forest have backed their manager in the transfer window and defender Scott McKenna could become the club’s tenth new signing of the summer.
Yesterday proved a disappointing afternoon but a few positives did emerge from the contest.
Luke Freeman once again looked impressive in the No.10 role, whilst Lyle Taylor replaced the injured Joe Lolley in the first half and made a decent impression.
Things need to improve though and quickly, with Forest hoping to put the demons of last season behind them in time to make an impression at the right end of the table.
