Nottingham Forest defender Jayden Richardson joined League Two outfit Forest Green Rovers on loan yesterday (BBC).
The 20-year-old helped Exeter City to the League Two play-off final last season, losing out to Northampton Town at Wembley.
Richardson had been tipped to compete for the shirt vacated by Matty Cash who was recently sold to Aston Villa.
Following the signing of Cyrus Christie, however, he’s been allowed to head out on loan for another spell away from the City Ground.

RONALDO NEEDS TO STOP WHINING.
Richardson is yet to make his first-team debut for the Reds, although he was on the bench twice before joining Exeter last season.
He is behind Christie, Carl Jenkinson, Tendayi Darikwa and Jordan Gabriel at the City Ground and the loan should do him good.
Last season he played 20 games for the Grecians and that experience should put him in good shape for the future.
Now he will switch his focus to Forest Green and Mark Cooper will have ambitions of reaching League One himself.
Richardson is capable of playing on either side of the defence and even operated in midfield during his time at Exeter.
Following his latest loan move, we looked at what Forest fans were saying on Twitter about the deal.
Great signing for you boys! Had a good spell at Exeter last season. Promising young player

The lad has talent. Did well with Exeter last year and will hopefully do the same with you.
