Nottingham Forest have endured a miserable start to their 2020/21 campaign, losing all of their first four matches.

No fewer than 12 new players have been signed by Sabri Lamouchi this summer but there appears to be a hangover from the disappointing end to last season.

Today represents the last day that Forest can do business with clubs overseas and with a bloated squad, it could be a big day.

Here is a look at what we know so far on deadline day.

January signing set to leave

According to Get French Football News, Forest have accepted a loan with a view to buy offer for Nuno Da Costa.

Belgian outfit Royal Excel Mouscron are the club keen to take the player who has flattered to deceive at the City Ground.

The 29-year-old was signed for £1.8 million from Strasbourg in January but hasn’t really made an impact.

He has played 13 games for the Reds, registering one assist and failing to find the net during his time at the club.

Dursun linked

The Mirror claims that Darmstadt striker Serdar Dursun is a target for Nottingham Forest.

An uncompromising German striker he scored 19 times in the Bundesliga.2 last season but is yet to get off the mark during 2020/21.

The 28-year-old was linked with Derby last week and it would be an odd signing for Forest to make.

Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor are the two strikers battling it out for a place in the team, with Miguel Angel Guerrero also at the club.

Benalouane close to departure

Another player edging close to the exit at the City Ground is Yohan Benalouane.

According to Greek outlet Sportime, Aris are keen to secure the signature of the Tunisian before the transfer deadline. The 33-year-old isn’t currently training with the first-team, falling behind the likes of Scott McKenna, Loic Mbe Soh and Tyler Blackett in the pecking order.

Benalouane did a job at a time when Forest were desperate for a centre-back, signing from Leicester City.

The man with five caps for his country has made 16 appearances for the Reds.
