A bizarre deal is set to take place that will end with Nottingham Forest landing Polish winger Kamil Grosicki, according to reports.
Olympiacos have agreed a £1.25 million fee for the experienced flyer but he won’t be part of their squad during 2020/21 and will instead join Forest on loan.
Grosicki has fallen down the pecking order under Slaven Bilic after helping the Baggies to promotion to the Premier League last season.

The 32-year-old signed from Hull during January, scoring once and registering three assists as the West Midlands-based club returned to the top-flight.
He scored seven times for Hull last season and also claimed four assists from the left-wing.
Grosicki has 75 caps to his name for Poland and he would probably prove a useful addition at Forest.
Boss Sabri Lamouchi has hinted that he’d like to sign another winger, although he did say after Saturday’s loss that he wasn’t fussed if no further additions were made.

Grosicki checking in on loan would make him a no-brainer signing.
The winger can play on either flank and is a proven performer at Championship level.
Adding him on loan would mean Forest could ensure the wages were within their budget, whilst there’d be no obligation to tie him to a long-term contract.
NFN Verdict – Squad bloated but Grosicki would be an ideal signing for Forest
The Reds have already added 12 new players to the ranks this summer and the main priority before the deadline will surely be to shift players out.

Grosicki might prove to be the final piece of the jigsaw for the Reds though and if a deal could be done it’s one that will surely be considered.
The lively performer isn’t short of pace, has a beautiful delivery on him and is capable of taking players on with ease.
