Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton is keen to sign Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert before the transfer window closes on October 16th.
According to reports, the 28-year-old has been identified by the new manager as someone he wants to add to his ranks.
During the 2019/20 campaign, he scored four goals in 39 games as Fulham won promotion to the Premier League at the first time of asking.
Despite the fact he’s only recently penned permanent terms with the top-flight newcomers, he doesn’t appear to be in Scott Parker’s immediate plans.
With that in mind, Hughton is keen to add a player to his ranks who he clearly knows all about.

During the 2016/17 campaign, Knockaert scored 15 goals and claimed nine assists as Hughton led Brighton into the Premier League.
The following campaign he was a regular in the team and his tireless approach perhaps deserved more than the three goals and two assists he claimed.
In total Knockaert is a veteran of 190 Championship appearances, scoring 36 goals and claiming 34 assists.
Following the links to a player who knows all about success in the Championship, supporters have been reacting.
It’s fair to say plenty of supporters would welcome the Frenchman’s arrival at the City Ground and here is a selection of Tweets regarding the £35,000-a-week Knockaert.
