Nottingham Forest will be desperate to get their season kick-started this weekend when Chris Hughton takes charge of his first game.
The Reds travel to Blackburn and know the pressure is on to start picking up results.
Before the focus switches to Ewood Park, the Reds have until later on this evening to complete any transfers.
Here is a round-up of what’s currently going on at the City Ground, with the window set to shut at 5pm.
French winger Anthony Knockaert looks set to join Forest on loan from Fulham before today’s deadline (Telegraph).
The 28-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Craven Cottage and hasn’t featured so far this season.
Knockaert has played under Hughton before and he’s clearly a player he wants on Trentside.
The ex-Leicester man singed for Fulham for £10.8 million in the summer but Scott Parker doesn’t see him as part of his plans this season.
Grosicki still on the radar
Poland international Kamil Grosicki is still on Forest’s radar and he could rock up at the City Ground before today’s cut-off (Telegraph).
The 32-year-old signed for West Bromwich Albion in January – rejecting Forest to sign for the Baggies.
After helping Slaven Bilic’s men into the Premier League, he has fallen down the pecking order and could now move on.
Grosicki has won 75 caps for his country and scored a hat-trick against Finland earlier this month.
He boasts 118 appearances at Championship level and it’ll be interesting to see if the Reds can get Grosicki over the line before this evening.
Players to head out?
Forest still need to get players out of the club before today’s deadline with the squad looking somewhat bloated.
Hughton has spoken about wanting everyone to have a fresh chance to impress and that might complicate things.
Zach Clough, Michael Hefele and Gaetan Bong were all surplus before the 61-year-old arrived and it seems likely offers would still be welcomed for the trio.
With over 20 players in place at the City Ground, the club will be trying desperately to mould the squad somewhat today.
