Nottingham Forest defeated Blackburn Rovers 1-0 on Saturday to claim their first win of the season and in the aftermath defender Scott McKenna has come in for praise.
The man-mountain centre-back played for the second time in a Forest shirt after missing the Bristol City defeat through injury.
McKenna signed for the Reds from Aberdeen during the summer in a deal that could eventually become worth £6 million.
The 23-year-old played alongside Loic Mbe Soh during his debut at Huddersfield Town but on Saturday he played next to Tobias Figueiredo.

The pair looked as though they’d been playing in tandem for years and the partnership certainly bodes well for the future.
Despite McKenna’s relatively young age, he is very experienced when it comes to playing first-team football, having played 118 times for the Dons.
Having spent such a sizeable sum of money on the Scotland international it seems likely that he will become a permanent fixture in the Forest team.
On Saturday’s showing, he is proving that he can step up to the required level in the Championship and supporters were certainly impressed.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Forest supporters after McKenna shines against Rovers at Ewood Park.
Both did well but Scott McKenna for me. Absolutely dominant #NFFC

Refreshing that 6″4 Sam Gallagher coming on didn’t make us turn to mush. Scott Mckenna looks a player. #NFFC

Harry Arter or Scott McKenna should be captain #NFFC

I think he’s been spot on – like the way he does the old fashioned defender bit of kick it & head it but also looks comfortable bringing the ball out with the ball at his feet. Would think he’ll be a regular in the Scotland squad for a while
