Nottingham Forest were held to a 1-1 draw against Rotherham United at the City Ground as the Reds missed a host of chances.

Cyrus Christie gave away a penalty early in the second half which Dan Barlaser smashed down into the middle of Brice Samba’s net.

Forest were all over their opponents though and missed several gilt-edged chances to secure a vital three points.

Lewis Grabban was guilty of the worst miss, firing wide after doing all the hard work to take the ball around the goalkeeper.

The Reds did manage an equaliser through Sammy Ameobi but ultimately they were made to pay for their feeble finishing.

One man who did catch the eye of their supporters was Harry Arter who for the second game running changed the game from the bench.

The midfielder hasn’t been fully fit and has only managed two cameos in Chris Hughton’s opening two games.

Arter arrived from Fulham in the summer and has looked the part in every game he has played for the Reds.

He will surely be close to a start when Derby County arrive for the East Midlands derby on Friday night.

Following tonight’s draw, here is a selection of Tweets from Forest supporters on the performance of Arter.
