The transfer window in Qatar slammed shut yesterday and Lewis Grabban remained a Forest player – much to the delight of supporters who reacted on Twitter.
The Forest talisman had been a target for former Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi who is now the manager of Qatar-based outfit Al Duhail.
Despite the interest, however, Grabban has chosen to stay at Forest and will now attempt to play his way back into form.
The 32-year-old is yet to score this season and has looked out of sorts in front of goal since the campaign began.

His misery in front of goal was compounded last Tuesday night when he missed an open goal during the 1-1 draw against Rotherham United.
On Friday against Derby, he was hooked at half-time after picking up an injury to his hip and it’ll be interesting to see if he recovers in time to face Luton.
Supporters seem happy that Grabban is set to stay, however, and have taken to Twitter to discuss the decision.
Confidence
The Forest striker earns a reported £35,000-a-week at the City Ground, making him one of the highest-paid players at the club.
Having scored 37 goals during two seasons at the club, fans will also hope he starts finding the net again very soon.
Here is a selection of Tweets from supporters regarding the transfer decision involving Grabban.
