Nottingham Forest were beaten 1-0 by Middlesbrough as Chris Hughton’s unbeaten start ended at the Riverside Stadium.
The Reds were largely poor throughout and created very little going forward against Neil Warnock’s side.
Forest have won just once this season and things aren’t really showing any signs of improving at the moment.
If Hughton was under any illusions as to the size of the job then this game told him plenty.
Ryan Yates flashed a header wide when it seemed easier to score but Forest offered very little going forward.

One man who did come in for some praise from supporters was defender Scott McKenna.
The player who arrived from Aberdeen is getting better with each passing game and his performances have certainly warranted Forest picking up more points.
He was powerless to prevent the Reds slipping to defeat at the Riverside Stadium and he does look a shrewd signing.
The 23-year-old heads and kicks everything and shows maturity in his defending way beyond his years.
Following his performance against Boro, supporters took to Twitter to rave about the centre-back.
Despite a disappointing afternoon we had a look at what supporters were saying about the Scotland international.
