Nottingham Forest finally won at home for the first time this season, beating Coventry City 2-1 deep into stoppage time.

Lyle Taylor was bundled over by Kyle McFadzean and after referee Geoff Eltringham pointed to the spot, the ex-Charlton man tucked home the penalty.

Scott McKenna’s first Forest goal had given the Reds a half-time advantage.

The Reds were pegged back early in the second half by a Callum O’Hare goal and from there it was all Sky Blues.

Forest were lucky not to lose on the night but they have played well in the past and not earned anything for their efforts.

This was a welcome role reversal in that sense and supporters were glad to see Yuri Ribeiro back in the side.

The Portuguese left-back had found himself frozen out in recent weeks but put in a strong performance.

He was given a tough examination in the second half as Sam McCallum tried to get forward.

Ribeiro coped reasonably well, however, and supporters hope to see more of the 23-year-old.

Here is what the Forest faithful were saying about the Portuguese performer.
