Nottingham Forest defeated Wycombe 2-0 at the City Ground on Saturday to send Chris Hughton’s team into the international break on a high.
The Reds won the game courtesy of two goals from Lyle Taylor who took his tally to four for the season.
Forest were made to work for their win but ultimately the 12 points taken from Hughton’s seven games is a decent return.

It seems as though the team spirit at the City Ground is edging back towards a satisfactory level.
Morale was clearly on the floor after the disappointment of last season and Hughton’s arrival has clearly helped that.
Forest signed 14 new players in the summer and it was always going to be a thankless task for those players to gel so quickly.
In the past week, however, the Reds have shown that they could settle and if things click, they could fly up the league.
Hughton is still learning about his squad and getting two weeks on the training ground with his squad will only bode well.
Forest play Barnsley away when the domestic action returns, with the following five fixtures coming against top six teams.
The challenge for the Reds is to continue winning games and they do that a good season could still be on the horizon.
Hughton will hope to continue picking up points – and ultimately keep climbing up the division.
