Nottingham Forest have been handed a boost ahead of tomorrow’s trip to Bournemouth tomorrow night.

The Daily Echo have claimed that first-team trio Josh King, Philip Billing and Adam Smith looks set to miss the clash with Forest.

It’s perhaps the absence of King that will hurt the Cherries the most though, with the forward valued at £30 million by the club.

Tottenham, Aston Villa and Leeds were all cited with interest in King during the summer, with the player out of contract next year.

The 28-year-old is yet to find the net this season after missing the start of the campaign with a thigh injury.

He was on the bench for a 3-1 win over Birmingham City but wasn’t involved against Reading and contracting Covid-19 during the international break.

Forest will be looking to return to winning ways on Tuesday after losing 2-0 to Barnsley at the weekend.

The Reds are still languish dangerously close to the bottom of the division and desperately need an upturn in fortunes.

Bournemouth are a side blessed with plenty of quality but Jason Tindall have three players ruled out is something for Forest to try and exploit.

Forest do have some injury concerns of their own, although Huhgton looks set to have the same group of players as he did at the weekend.

It’s a few years since the Reds last faced Bournemouth and they’ll hope to pick up some more points at the Vitality Stadium.

The Verdict – Small gains but Forest must take care of their own performance

Forest played well for a large part of the game at Oakwell but ultimately paid for some wayward finishing.

With that in mind, Hughton will be demanding a more ruthless streak in front of goal when Forest face Bournemouth.

Tomorrow’s game starts a tough run of games for the Reds and they need to rise to the challenge.

The absence of King, Smith and Billing is hopeful but Forest must focus on doing their best and trying to claim another three points.
