Nottingham Forest were beaten 2-0 at Bournemouth as a brace by Junior Stanislas ensured another miserable night for the Reds.
The Reds fell behind in the third minute and in truth, the Cherries were in cruise control throughout the contest.
Forest would have gone in at the interval two goals behind were it not for the brilliance of Scott McKenna clearing off his own line.
The Scotland international was pretty decent once again throughout the contest and earned some praise from supporters.
Forest are facing a real fight to start pulling clear of the relegation zone and Chris Hughton has some work to do.
McKenna was signed in the summer from Aberdeen and the 24-year-old has looked pretty solid since arriving.
Hughton is technically working with someone else’s players but it seems clear McKenna will be part of his plans if he decides to reshuffle in the transfer window.
Following his first half heroics on his own line supporters gave him some praise on Twitter.
It proved to be arguably the only highlight from a Reds point of view and Forest need to improve quickly.
Here is a selection of tweets from supporters on the performance of McKenna.
