Nottingham Forest slipped to a third defeat in succession since the international break, losing 1-0 at home to Swansea City.

Connor Roberts scored the only goal of the game in first-half stoppage time after errors from Tobias Figueiredo and Sammy Ameobi.

The result leaves the Reds languishing towards the Championship relegation zone, with the games against the top sides coming thick and fast.

Chris Hughton is left with more questions than answers and despite an improved performance, this result is another hammer blow.

One man who did come out of the credit from supporters was striker Lyle Taylor.

The Forest talisman couldn’t find the net but was a bright spark in attack for the hosts as they tried to score an equaliser.

Taylor arrived on a free in the summer and did well against the best defensive unit in the Championship.

He does have four goals to his name this season and he’ll hope to add to his tally in the coming weeks.

Following another defeat, supporters did at least applaud Taylor for his efforts on Twitter.

Here is what supporters were saying about the 30-year-old.
