Nottingham Forest head to Reading for the lunchtime kick-off today looking to secure a morale-boosting win.
The Reds drew 0-0 with Watford in midweek in a game that could have swung in either direction.
Drawing to such a quality team should give the Reds confidence and they’ll hope to get back to winning ways at the Madejski Stadium.
Ahead of today’s trip, we looked at how Chris Hughton might line his team up this afternoon.
In goal and back four
Brice Samba will be buoyed by his clean-sheet in the Watford game in midweek and he’ll hope to kick on between the posts.
Cyrus Christie also enjoyed a better game against the Hornets and he should continue at right-back.
Yuri Ribeiro did superbly well up against Ismaila Sarr on Wednesday and he’ll likely line-up at left-back in Berkshire.
There could be a chance at centre-back though, with Hughton hoping to have Scott McKenna back.
If that is the case, expect him to partner Joe Worrall with Tobias Figueiredo dropping to the bench.
Jack Colback is expected to miss out once more, with Hughton claiming he’s ruled out for a few weeks.
Ryan Yates will therefore take the mantle of shielding the back four.
Cafu put in a smart performance during his first start on Wednesday night and his energy could prove useful at the Madejski Stadium.
The Portuguese maestro should start alongside Harry Arter who will hope to gain some consistency sooner rather than later.
Anthony Knockaert will probably get the nod on the right.
The Frenchman is still waiting for a goal contribution but Hughton does rate him and he’ll be expected to continue.
On the opposite flank, Joe Lolley looked lively in the second half against Watford and he too should keep his place.
Lyle Taylor has scored four goals this season and pretty much picks himself.
The ex-Charlton man is the only senior striker available to Hughton at the moment, with Lewis Grabban still on the treatment table.
Will Swan should provide the backup from the bench once again.
Here is how Hughton’s team could look this afternoon:
