Former Nottingham Forest defender Matt Mills blasted current enforcer Tobias Figueiredo for his display in the 2-0 defeat to Reading on Saturday.
The Portuguese player was introduced as a half-time substitute after Scott McKenna picked up an injury in the first-half.
Figueiredo lost his place despite helping the Reds to a clean sheet during a 0-0 draw with Watford on Wednesday night.
Mills played 87 times for Forest during a three-year spell at the club and yesterday he was in the studio as the Reds traveled to the Madejski Stadium.
He thought Figueiredo deserved criticism for the way he handled himself after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Mills told Sky Sports: “His body language when he’s stood waiting to come on is awful.
“You can tell he’s got the hump because he’s been left on the bench in the first place. His marking from the set-piece wasn’t exactly heroic either, was it?
“Frankly, I thought his whole attitude to coming on at half-time was nothing short of a disgrace.”
Is Figueiredo on borrowed time at Forest?
Being frank, it has to be said he is.
Reports in the summer suggested the Portuguese performer was unhappy at the football club and wanted a return to his homeland.
When Chris Hughton was originally tasked with reviving Forest’s fortunes, Figueiredo won his place back and showed some promising signs.
In the last few weeks he has regressed again, however, with his performance against Swansea last weekend nothing short of woeful.
Forest have a massive squad and some big decisions might need to be made in January.

Joe Worrall is now fit, whilst Loic Mbe Soh is a highly-rated youngster who was also signed in the summer.
Figueiredo’s attitude to being dropped wasn’t great; with Mills hitting the nail on the head with his damning assessment.
With better options in the squad and the 26-year-old clearly not willing to fight for his place, the time could have come to cut him loose.
If a suitor is forthcoming in January then a departure looks inevitable.
