Nottingham Forest slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Norwich last night and some footage of Brennan Johnson has called for some supporters to demand he is recalled.

On Tuesday, Lincoln beat Shrewsbury 4-1 to progress in the Football League Trophy, with the Forest loan star in fine form.

He won the Imps a penalty and produced some great moments during the contest as he continues to impress.

It was Johnson’s contribution to the third goal which truly caught the eye though.

He tracked back to make a crucial tackle in his own half before pirouetting on the ball and getting Lincoln moving forward again.

It resulted in Ramirez Howarth scoring for Michael Appleton’s team and Johnson was instrumental.

Chris Hughton mentioned a couple of weeks ago that he was keeping tabs on the Forest-owned player and he’d have been impressed on Tuesday.

Following the footage emerging, plenty of supporters have been reacting on Twitter.

Lincoln supporters are delighted with the teenager’s progress, whilst some Forest fans would like to see him back.

It remains to be seen what will happen when the January transfer window reopens but it seems Johnson is enjoying his football.

Here is what supporters were saying after his magical moment on Tuesday night.
