Nottingham Forest beat Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at the City Ground last night and in the process, a new partnership emerged that had supporters excited.
The Reds won the game thanks to goals from Yuri Ribeiro and Lewis Grabban but Joe Worrall and Loic Mbe Soh came in for some praise from the club’s fans.
Ex-PSG youngster Mbe Soh came in for his first game under Chris Hughton with Tobias Figueiredo suspended after collecting a fifth yellow card at the weekend.
He slotted in seamlessly at centre-back and will have certainly given his manager some food for thought ahead of Saturday’s clash with Millwall.

Worrall has captained the team since recovering from a broken foot and in the absence of Scott McKenna a place alongside him is up for grabs.
The 19-year-old former FIFA Golden Boy nominee looks like an exciting signing for the Reds and after last night looks to be in control of the shirt.
Hughton has a big decision to make at the weekend but it seems supporters have already made their mind up over who should play.
Here is what supporters were saying on Twitter as a new partnership seemed to emerge last night.
If it changes Saturday I’ll cry
