Nottingham Forest defeated Sheffield Wednesday 2-0 at the City Ground to end a run of seven games without a victory.
The Reds won thanks to goals from Yuri Ribeiro and Lewis Grabban and in truth, they should have scored more goals.
It was a dominant display from start to finish and Chris Hughton will have been delighted by what he saw from his players.
One man who did excel for the Reds was Samba Sow.
The returning central midfielder makes a huge difference in midfield when he is fit and on top form.

This was one of those occasions and he gave the Wednesday midfielders a torrid time of things.
The Malian international arrived from Dinamo Moscow in the summer of 2019 for a small £640,000 sum.
He has proved to be worth every single penny – although Forest would prefer it if he avoided niggling injuries more often than not.
Sow was an unused substitute against Brentford at the weekend and it paid off saving him for this bottom of the table clash.
Forest supporters certainly appreciated his efforts in midfield and took to Twitter to rave about his performance.
Here is what they were saying about the star midfielder.
Main points from what I see were, once again, just how important Samba Sow is to this team. Can be clumsy at times and picks up far too many bookings (especially early on), but we're a different side with him in there. #nffc

This feels different to Wycombe & Coventry. An all round round great team performance. Sammy Ameobi was incredible. We got last season’s Samba Sow. Great goal from Yuri. So pleased for Grabban. Hopefully this isn’t a false down and we can turn the corner. #nffc
