Nottingham Forest claimed a decent point from a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Millwall yesterday – and afterwards, supporters raved about Loic Mbe Soh.
The Reds fell behind just after half-time when Tom Bradshaw fired home for the hosts.
Their joy was short-lived, however, with Alex Mighten scoring his first senior goal just a minute later.
The teenager drew plenty of plaudits for his goal but it came from a lovely ball from the back by Mbe Soh.
The 19-year-old checked in at the City Ground during the summer but has been forced to wait patiently for a chance.
Tobias Figueiredo has been preferred since Chris Hughton’s arrival but his suspension opened the door against Sheffield Wednesday in midweek.
A strong showing saw him keep his place in the team and that delighted Forest supporters.
Although Mbe Soh was at fault for Millwall’s opening goal, he did make instant amends with a delicious ball for Mighten to equalise.
Following his overall performance, supporters took to Twitter to rave about the youngster.
They’re hopeful he will earn more chances as the season progresses and he certainly impressed yesterday.
Here is what Forest fans were saying about Mbe Soh.
