Some Nottingham Forest supporters have been discussing Anthony Knockaert, with the player talking up extending his stay with the club.
The 29-year-old is on a short-term loan from Fulham and is due to head back to Craven Cottage on January 7.
The Reds, though, have an option to buy and there is also the possibility of the loan being extended until the end of the season.

That is something Knockaert seems to want, saying after last night’s 1-1 draw with Stoke City (via Nottingham Post): “I think the last game is Saturday.
“I don’t know what will happen. I will have to speak with both clubs – with Forest and Fulham – and see what they say.
“I actually don’t know what’s going to happen, right now I couldn’t tell you.
“I feel really good here and if I can stay until the end of the season, I will do.”

Knockaert has made 18 appearances in 2020/21, and scored just the one goal with a couple of assists, one each in the Championship and EFL Cup.
That is a disappointing return from the Frenchman, who has created and squandered chances.
On social media, some Forest fans have been discussing Knockaert with his loan set to expire as things currently stand.
It seems that despite the way he can frustrate, the consensus is that he’s a quality player on his day and someone who should be retained for a potential relegation battle:
