Nottingham Forest have this afternoon announced the loan extension of Fulham winger Anthony Knockaert.
The flyer checked in during the summer transfer window and in recent weeks has shown flashes of his brilliance.
Knockaert has claimed two assists and scored once so far in the Garibaldi – although that doesn’t perhaps tell the whole story.
The 29-year-old’s delivery is often delightful but occasionally some woeful finishing has robbed him of the chance to add to his tally.

On his day, he is an exceptional Championship player and Forest will now hope there is more to come from the winger.
Knockaert has played arguably the best football of his career under Hughton and the deal seems a good one for Forest.
Some supporters had been worried the Reds might pay over the odds for the forward.
Loaning him again looks like an ideal situation for all parties though and Knockaert will hope to kick on.
Forest play Cardiff City in the FA Cup tomorrow before the busy Championship schedule gets back underway.
In the main, supporters seem happy to see the £35,000-a-week flyer pen an extension to stay at the City Ground, reacting on Twitter.
Here is what the Forest fan base were saying after this afternoon’s news.
Good news just need to pay us back with more good games

. Hope we can afford his wages
It’s good too that we haven’t had to fork out £10m to get him back, as well. Very happy with this

Fantastic news Anthony Knockaert is staying for the rest of the season. You can’t let a player like that leave when you’re in the situation we’re in. #NFFC

Good deal we’ve extended Knockaert’s loan. No doubt he can do more but then again, who can’t in that squad? Our most creative player at this moment in time, be nice to see him & Mighten on the wings going forward #NFFC

Knockaert staying is great news. He’s improving regularly right now and is easily our most talented attacking player. #NFFC
