Nottingham Forest have officially confirmed the loan extension of Anthony Knockaert from Fulham, on the club’s official website.

The 29-year-old is Chris Hughton’s only signing since arriving at the City Ground.

He checked in back in October and has made 16 appearances for the Reds during the first half of the campaign.

He has one goal and two assists to his name but that perhaps doesn’t tell the full story.

Knockaert’s delivery has been impressive since arriving and with a bit more composure from the club’s strikers, he could have more goal contributions to his name.

Interestingly it seems as though some Fulham fans aren’t overly happy the loan has been extended.

It was part of a pre-agreed deal on the back of his loan at Craven Cottage during the 2019/20 campaign.

Despite signing him permanently in the summer, Scott Parker decided to loan him to Forest after not deeming him part of his plans.

Fulham have picked of late, although they continue to sit inside the Premier League’s relegation zone.

The Cottagers have found the net just 13 times this season and some fans believe Knockaert might have given the squad a lift.

Fulham’s loss is now Forest’s gain, however, and here is what supporters of the West London-based club are saying as the extension is confirmed.
