Nottingham Forest legend Stan Collymore was recently named in Four Four Two’s compilation of the 100 greatest Premier League players – and supporters have been reacting.
Collymore was named as the 86th best player to have appeared in the Premier League by the country’s number one football magazine.
The former Forest talisman played arguably his best football under Frank Clark at the City Ground.
He arrived in 1993 and fired 41 goals in two years with the club before heading off to join Liverpool.

For whatever reason, Collymore never really fulfilled his potential as a footballer but that hasn’t stopped Forest fans worshipping him.
After his latest accolade, supporters took to Twitter to rave about the brilliance of the former talisman.
Collymore has his own highlight reel of great goals which fans undoubtedly watch on repeat on a regular basis.
He showcased brute strength rarely seen at the City Ground since by a striker and had a knack of scoring goals out of nothing.
Clark was the perfect boss for the striker and it’s sad in a sense that he never really reached the summit of the English game.
Following Four Four Two’s poll, we asked supporters to sum up Collymore in no more than three words.
Here is what the Forest fan base had to say at the hero being named in the recent Four Four Two poll.
