Nottingham Forest produced their best display under Chris Hughton to defeat Millwall 3-1 at the City Ground – with Cafu earning praise from supporters.
The Reds won courtesy of a Sammy Ameobi brace and a goal by Ryan Yates – his first of the 2020/21 campaign.
Ben Thompson scored late on for the Lions but Forest weren’t to be denied a stunning three points.
Hughton has taken some flak for certain elements since he arrived. It’s fair to say, however, that his message is starting to get across to the Forest players.

One man who has shown commitment and glimpses of quality under the boss is Portuguese midfielder Cafu.
He arrived at the City Ground as part of the deal which saw Tiago Silva join Olympiacos.
The 27-year-old has been in pretty decent form for a few weeks now but against the Lions he was excellent.
Wherever he is asked to play, Cafu always puts in a shift and his passing was particularly good yesterday.
An early threaded ball should have produced a goal for Lewis Grabban but the Forest striker couldn’t quite compose himself.
Supporters are starting to warm to Cafu though and were quick to praise him after yesterday.
Here is what Forest fans were saying about the man on loan from Olympiacos.
