Nottingham Forest’s hopes of signing West Brom’s international winger Kamil Grosicki could be evaporating pretty quickly.
Last night the 32-year-old lined-up for the Albion against West Ham and helped himself to an assist for Matheus Pereira’s equalising goal.
The Baggies lost 2-1 but Grosicki looks to have impressed Sam Allardyce to the point where he might keep him around.
Forest nearly signed the man with 80 Poland caps in October. The Reds submitted paperwork 21 seconds after the deadline, however, scuppering the deal.
It was anticipated Forest might return for him during the January transfer window.
Various reports have suggested various different situations, however, and being honest it’s proving difficult to keep up.
Allardyce’s arrival at The Hawthorns looks to have given Grosicki a lift.
His career at the club under Slaven Bilic looked to be going nowhere but now he seems to be proving a point.
Last night he was pretty decent despite the defeat and his assist will do his confidence the world of good.
Following the game, he received plenty of praise from Albion supporters, with some seemingly thinking he can still do a job.
After the game they reacted on Twitter regarding his latest performance.
Here is what they were saying about the £25,000-a-week trickster.
