Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of Benfica midfielder Filip Krovinovic.

The 25-year-old has featured 11 times this season for the Baggies but fell out of favour under Sam Allardyce.

He has made two appearances under the new boss but he would like to create space in his squad for new signings.

Ryan Yates joined Jack Colback and Harry Arter in the treatment room this week, hobbling off against Middlesbrough in midweek.

As a result, Forest head to Swansea for their FA Cup clash this week with a depleted engine room.

Last season, the £29,000-a-week Krovinovic played 42 games for the Baggies as they won promotion to the Premier League.

The Croatian scored four goals and registered three assists for the club and was taken back for a second loan spell.

It seems he’s proved quite a popular figure among the club’s supporters and following the links to Forest, they’ve been reacting.
