Some reports last night have linked Samba Sow with a move away from Nottingham Forest – and supporters have been reacting on Twitter.
The claim was that Turkish outfit Buyuksehir are in negotiations with the midfielder over signing for them next season.
Sow is out of contract at the City Ground in the summer and right now can discuss pre-contracts with clubs overseas.
Forest have a bit of an injury crisis in midfield and losing Sow this month doesn’t look like an option.
Jack Colback, Harry Arter and Ryan Yates are all currently on the treatment table and Sow is integral.
If Forest could get a fee for the 31-year-old, however, it could hand the club a serious decision to make.
The player cost £640,000 in the summer of 2019 from Dinamo Moscow and he has played 41 times for the Reds.
Sow has proved to be a battering ram in the middle of the park for Forest.
Although prone to a booking – and an injury, he isn’t without fault and it’ll be interesting to see if there is anything in these latest rumours.
Supporters are unanimous in their thoughts and want Sow to stick around.
Here is what Forest supporters are saying about the latest news regarding the midfielder.
