Sheffield United shocked the Premier League with a 2-1 win over Manchester United last night. Oliver Burke fired home the winner and Nottingham Forest fans were delighted.

The former Reds academy graduate had only been on the pitch for four minutes when his deflected effort left David de Gea stranded.

United were bidding to go back on top of the Premier League but their loss keeps rivals Manchester City at the summit.

Burke has come into some form of late for the Blades.

He scored a decisive goal during a 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers in the FA Cup and looks lively in games against Newcastle and Spurs.

Last night was the tip of the iceberg though and scoring at Old Trafford will undoubtedly stay with him forever.

Forest fans are left to wonder what might have been with Burke.

He scored six goals and registered three assists during 31 appearances for the club.

Just as he was starting to thrive in the side and become a real force, he was sold to RB Leipzig for £13 million in 2016.

Following his heroics from the bench last night, Forest supporters were keen to congratulate their former academy star.

Here is what the Forest fan base was saying on Twitter, following Burke’s goal.
