Glenn Murray has checked in at Nottingham Forest on a short-term contract – and Brighton fans have been reacting on Twitter.
Chris Hughton has resigned the player he managed when Brighton won promotion to the Premier League during 2016/17.
Murray has scored 52 goals in 127 appearances under Hughton’s management and he bolsters Forest’s ranks ahead of the final 20 games of the campaign.
The 37-year-old has been on loan at Watford during the first half of the 2020/21 campaign.

He’s not found first-team football easy to come by though, playing just over 100 minutes all season.
As a result, he has been allowed to return to the Seagulls who have subsequently let him head for a reunion with Hughton.
Murray might need a week or two to get up to full fitness but in the meantime he’ll be a decent option from the bench.
Lewis Grabban and Lyle Taylor have just five goals between them this season and another option can’t hurt.
Murray is a proven goalscorer at Championship level and also bagged 12 Premier League goals during the 2017/18 campaign.
The memories of his time at Brighton remain and their supporters have wished him well as he embarks on a short-term spell at Forest.
Here is what Seagulls fans are saying about the target man after his departure.
