Nottingham Forest boss Chris Hughton has suggested to Nottinghamshire Live that Sammy Ameobi could miss this weekend’s game.
The Reds travel to Wycombe looking to claim back-to-back victories after Tuesday’s win over Coventry.
Ameobi was hooked at half-time during the St Andrews clash and faces a race to be fit for the weekend.

Hughton confirmed during his press conference that he needs assessing prior to the game.
He told Nottinghamshire Live: “The only one we need to check on would be Sammy Ameobi, who we took off at half-time on Tuesday.
“He got a whack on his knee which was getting a little bit sore and stiff as the half went on.
“We need to assess him.”
Ameobi hasn’t quite scaled the heights he hit last season when he scored six goals and claimed nine assists.
This time around he’s scored just three times and his assist on Tuesday was his first of the campaign.
Injury would strike at just the wrong time if he was ruled out this weekend and he’ll be desperate to kick on.
Will Ameobi missing out provide Forest with a blow?
It will on the basis that he did okay in the first-half on Tuesday – but Forest are well-stocked out wide.
Joe Lolley was an unused sub at St Andrews, whilst Alex Mighten didn’t even make the 20-man squad.

Ameobi will have relished the regular game time though and he’ll want to continue impressing Hughton.
The 28-year-old is out of contract in the summer and being injured won’t do his chances of an extension any good.
Forest face daunting games against Bournemouth and Swansea after Saturday’s game.
Bearing that in mind, Ameobi sitting out might not be such a bad thing after all.
