Nottingham Forest drew 0-0 with Bournemouth at the City Ground – and afterwards, supporters raved about Tobias Figueiredo on Twitter.
The defender was excellent alongside Joe Worrall and showcased the sort of form that people know he is capable of.
Figueiredo arrived at the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2018, turning a loan move permanent after just six months.
He’s endured mixed fortunes during his time on Trentside but currently seems to be in good form.
The Portuguese powerhouse has made 85 appearances in total for the Reds, scoring three goals.

Towards the back end of last season and earlier this season, the 27-year-old has come under fire for some erratic form.
Chris Hughton has kept faith in the enforcer though and slowly but surely the defender is getting there.
Having Joe Worrall alongside him probably helps but nonetheless he has looked pretty steady in recent weeks.
After his performance yesterday many fans took the mantra of giving credit where it’s due, praising him on Twitter.
Here is what Forest supporters were saying about the uncompromising centre-back after the clean sheet against Bournemouth.
Agreed he is a tower of strength... However Figuriedo has improved dramatically and that fact seems to have gone unnoticed

Really pleased with that. Showed we can now compete with the parachute teams. Good to see Figueiredo showing his best form again.

Unfortunate Murray's header blocked, and some really good goalkeeping by Samba at the death. A point gained. Solid display.#nffc
I know we moan about Bong, Christie & Figueiredo but they’ve kept 2 clean sheets & helped us towards 7 points in the last 3 games.

Maybe us #nffc fans need to cut them a little slack while they are doing well as a back line.
Happy with a point against Bournemouth 👌🏻
That's that... the first half hour was the best part of this game. Forest defended very well, with Figueiredo and Worrall both very good. Easy for me to say sat here, but surely Lolley, Mighten or Grabbam might have added something off the bench, there? #NFFC

Also a shout out for the usual scapegoats, figs, christie, and bong. I thought they did really well. #nffc

Only fair to give Figs some credit today, was just as solid as Worrall and looked much more like his former self last season. May let it continue. #nffc

Figs was a mess & Hughton showed trust in him, now much more like his old self. If he can get Freeman believing in himself again, bloody good for us
