Nottingham Forest secured another vital 1-0 victory, this time at the expense of Rotherham United at the New York Stadium.

Ryan Yates scored the only goal of the game in the second half as Forest backed up their win over Blackburn at the weekend.

It was Joe Worrall who was once again a standout performer and he defended his own box with absolute aplomb.

It was a performance from the Forest captain which epitomised what playing for the football club is all about – and supporters were delighted.

The 24-year-old is Forest through and through and such a quality was evident as he donned the captain’s armband at the New York Stadium.

Worrall has been constantly linked with Burnley during recent months and keeping hold of him in the summer could prove tricky.

The defender has now made 126 appearances in the Garibaldi and is a firm fan favourite at the City Ground.

He has been a consistent performer for Chris Hughton’s team; despite a season of relative struggle.

Following tonight’s game, it was Worrall’s name on the lips of supporters who reacted on Twitter to his performance.

Here is what the Reds fan base had to say about their captain after another impressive display at the heart of Forest’s defence.
