Nottingham Forest won 1-0 away at Rotherham United and afterwards, supporters had some praise for Cyrus Christie.
The defender has come under-fire from some sections of the support this season, arriving from Fulham on loan during the summer.
He has nailed down the right-back berth in Chris Hughton’s team and his recent performances are starting to prove a point.
Forest won the game courtesy of a Ryan Yates goal in the second half of the contest.
He swept home after a scramble had taken place following a delivery from Christie.

It was a really professional performance from Forest and the on-loan man was part of everything decent about it.
The 28-year-old got forward quickly, defended resolutely and tried his best for the Forest cause.
Christie has had some erratic moments this season and up against some wingers he has looked lost at times.
There was no sign of that element emerging here though and he shone at the New York Stadium last night.
Even his fiercest critics had some praise for him after the South Yorkshire clash, taking to Twitter to congratulate him.
Here is a selection of Tweets from the fan base with regards to the performance of Christie against Rotherham.
Best game in a Forest shirt tonight. He was excellent. Didn’t have much to do defensively thankfully.
